You get a mosquito and you never have to point it at anybody. It flies around the chain on its own, hunting for wallets that keep buying memes, picks one and sits down on it. From then on a bite comes off every trade that wallet makes: half of it comes back to everyone holding $MOSQUITO, the rest burns. It leaves when it is full, not when the wallet asks.
The swarm finds the wallet for you — all you decide is how greedy to be. Hold BITE to drink and the take grows; every second on the skin wakes him up a little more, and past FULL you get heavy and slow and wake him twice as fast. Let go in time and the take is banked. Stay one second too long and the hand comes down.
You never aim it, you never approve anything and you never fill in an address. It does the whole job by itself.
Let it go and it flies the chain block by block, reading who is buying and how often, and it drops onto the busiest wallet it can find. Nobody aims it at anybody, which is also why nobody can aim one at you as a favour.
A bite comes off every trade that wallet makes, taken in the same transaction, before anything lands. A quiet wallet barely feeds it. A wallet that buys all night feeds it all night and never notices a single one.
Empty, sipping, full, dozing. Once it is full it stops drinking and sleeps it off right there on the wallet, and when it finally wakes it lifts off and goes looking for somebody new. You do not get to know who is next.
You are allowed to swat it, and it costs you: the swat burns the mosquito and everything still inside it, so whatever it took from you burns with it. Most people miss. A miss wakes the rest of the swarm.
Nothing sits in a treasury waiting for a vote. Every bite is split the second it is taken.
Paid out to holders as it comes in, trade by trade, all night. You are not farming anything and there is nothing to claim — you are simply on the other side of somebody's bad fills.
Converted and sent to a dead address in the same block as the trade that fed it. A swat burns whatever is left in the mosquito on top of that, which is why the swarm treats being swatted as a rounding error.
Kept for the contract, the artwork and the wall that everybody opens at night to check whether their own address is on it. Whatever the jar does not spend, the jar burns.
A mosquito is an honest little receipt. You can tell exactly how well a wallet has been trading by how fat the thing sitting on it is.
Every wallet currently carrying a mosquito, heaviest first. None of them volunteered, and every one of them is still buying.
Eight wallets in one night and not one hand got there in time.
